The Cord

The short film "The Cord" is the first cinematic attempt by the talented and proclaimed director; Mr. Allaith Hajjo.

The Cord tells the story of a couple who are under siege in a destroyed Syrian neighborhood, the wife goes into early labor and finds it impossible to reach the midwife because of the presence of a sniper who intercepts any passers-by, taking us to live moment by moment the dangers of labor and mother's pain all during a excruciating siege.
